Mr. Rahul works on endophytes and their biocontrol potential against plant pathogens. His research focuses on the intricate interactions between endophytes and Brassica juncea, a vital crop under constant threat from biotrophic pathogens like Albugo candida. With a strong emphasis on biochemical, molecular, and gene expression mechanisms, his work aims to uncover sustainable, environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical pathogen control. In an era where the ecological impact of chemical pesticides is a growing concern, his research aims into the natural, symbiotic relationships between plants and endophytes offers promising solutions. By harnessing the inherent resistance mechanisms within plants, his research will contribute to the development of innovative biocontrol strategies that not only protect crops but also safeguard the environment.
